Very awesome design. The Kakama Nuva was one of my favorite 2008 BIONICLE masks, particularly the Rockoh T3 version. Many of the similarities to the original were somewhat subtle, but they were there! And it was generally a good-looking mask.
I'm sure that nowadays if the LEGO designers were to release new versions of older BIONICLE masks, they'd definitely feel more true to the originals — just look at how the Hero Factory Breakout, Brain Attack, and Invasion from Below sets used either the characters' original helmets or new ones that were quite clearly based on the originals. But that doesn't reduce my love for masks like this one that pay tribute to the originals in subtler ways.
